This year my car turned 20. How exciting is that? Pretty exciting for me because she is 1 more year away from being 21. Although she is still too young for the bars, for the past couple of years she has been going to all the bars and parties with me. Even though she waits outside, it’s a good feeling to know that she is right outside ready to take me home safely. My boo. She doesn’t ask for much either, just to keep her gassed up once in a while and a shower from time to time. Many people ask when I’m going to trade her in for something younger, but I just reply with, ” That’s my road dog, she takes good care of me, so eff you and your expensive ho.
She always has the festivities ready for me when she picks me up. Her voice is a little scratchy, but she still plays my favorite songs too. Well, until it gets annoying, then the radio gets turned on.

So you can only imagine how mad I was when I woke up to this sight one morning shortly after her birthday.

As I started shaking down all the kids in the neighborhood, I just knew one of them pushed that tree over onto my car…with their skateboards, bibbidy bop rap music and Nintendo video games.
Even my boy ST was pretty pissed and couldn’t wait to get out there and find the culprit. Even though he got side tracked and forgot all about the cause after passing his food bowl, it made me feel good to know he had my back.

No big deal though, I just removed the branches and went back inside to comb hair and get the day started.
