This past Saturday we rolled out to MDK’s wall to pop some shit off with them and some of their friends from Jersey. I don’t have much of a story to tell for this particular event, just check the flics and enjoy!

Lunch Break!!

Last week we definitely took advantage of the 70 degree weather in CT. It all started off on Thursday, I was knee deep in printing tees while Vers was sitting down at his desk talking to the computer. I went outside to smoke a quick cig and the next thing you know I’m all up in a tizzy with my arms waving in every direction like a pissed off Spanish girl, talking about, “Yo…yo, we gotta drop a little something today!” Vers quickly grabbed the bat for protection as I continued to swing my hands around 3 feet from his face in excitement. I’m like, “Nah, chill…yo we gotta drop a little something today, fo realz!!!”
So Vers took a step outside and quickly agreed. I opened up my black book and pointed at this character while Vers sketched out some letters to complete our little production.

So immediately I hopped on to the computer to check what time the Sun was going to set that day. 6:56pm…YES! And by 4pm, with the Sun on our backs and spray cans in our fanny packs, we were off to Bristol to drop this dynamic duo piece. Of course, first stop was to the packi so that I could wet my whistle, because, well…that’s just how I roll when I paint.
As we were driving down King Street in Bristol I couldn’t help but notice how other people were taking advantage of this Spring weather in CT. You had people walking down the street with their favorite animals crapping on everything, cats on the court swearing they good, you even had teenage girls strolling their newly hatched babies……”ahhhh, nothing like the Spring time in CT“, I says to Vers. He quickly glanced at me like I was crazy…the usual look he gives me when I talk.

Fast forward to Saturday morning where Vers, Spie and myself already had plans to drop some pieces on these walls we stumbled upon during the Winter season. So here is where our adventure continues.

By about noon, some heads came through and were nice enough to supply some beats for us while we were getting busy. I mean, these cats were no Wu-Tang Clan…. but it worked.

The next thing you know other writers started to arrive to get busy and enjoy the nice day along with the acoustic music.

Spie and Vers kept teasing me, telling me I’m getting lucky because they noticed my piece was coming out better than any other piece I’ve done in the past due to a little friend I smuggled in.

And that’s all folks. We walked away feeling accomplished and with new friends. I actually walked away with something a little different from the rest…a sunburn on my neck.
